The Middlefield Community Gardens Project is an imaginative and exciting project to take five acres of derelict land in a deprived community in the north of Aberdeen and turn it into a vibrant garden complex for the benefit of local people and people in Aberdeen with disabilities or mental health problems.

The finished gardens will contain

public gardens,

play areas for local children,

wildlife havens,

food-growing,

and a community composting scheme.
